Testimonials
Hey John,
I DID IT! I did your lip method the other day and WOW did the color appear quickly. It was so neat, I can't wait to try it again, and I used to hate doing lips.
Thanks so much, Becky Henshall 8/22/00 |

Dear John, I just want to let you know how much I appreciate my 2 weeks of training with you in February of this year. I not only learned so much more but gained immense confidence. I feel the money and time I invested with your training was well worthwhile and have no regrets. P.S. You also are very patient and understanding of many pmu practitioners' frustrations.
Thanks Again,

Dear John,
Just a note to thank you for the education and knowledge you have shared with me. My Lip procedure is easier and the time it takes to perform a lip procedure is less.
I attended the Las Vegas class. You were quite busy but the information you were able to give was valuable. I walked away feeling "I Can Do This Too!" (With more practice of course.)
I want to thank you for what I learned. The color "stay" has been incredible. I look forward to coming to see you in Florida. Talk to you soon.
Take Care-God Bless:) Carolyn Melby 8/13/00 |

Hi to all,
I also took some training from John Hashey. I did the one day personal course, I did my day in March of this year.
The technique he uses and teaches is a very different techniques for doing full lip color than what most of us have learned. He does indeed get the color in, in about 20 minutes, not counting the numbing up time. He tells you that the client will need to come back for a finishing or perfecting session, but I saw lots of color in my model's lips after she healed, and she did not need or want to have another session.
I did not do the model. John did her lips as I watched. I came back and practiced on pig ears, and still practice occasionally. I did not master the technique. It seems awkward to me, and I don't want to mess up on someone's lips, practicing on them.
John has invited me to come back anytime and watch him work at no additional charge, and he is very helpful on the phone, but I haven't had time to get back. It just takes a lot of practice and I will eventually get it.

I just wanted to say thanks for pointing me in the direction of John Hashey.
I visited with him for a few days and am already reaping the benefits of his tutelage. What a nice guy. I'm not doing twenty minutes but I certainly cut my time in half already. Now if I can just find those pigs ears.

I've heard from across the country and the ocean that people who have trained with John Hashey (Advance Training Only) have cut their technique time in half on lips and doubled the color retention.
Too many people to list as women literally are flocking to study with him. He's a master in permanent makeup and a true artist.
What John has accomplished in permanent makeup that is unique is that he recognizes bad techniques and habits in a heartbeat and knows just how to show you what works and what doesn't and why. He will take you through your equipment thoroughly as well.

Dear John,
After attending your 20 minute lips class (April 2000) I'm getting great lip color with fewer applications. I have found your technique helpful with eyeliner and brow procedures too.
I'm much more confident in my work now and would like to thank you for your continued assistance. I would also like to mention, how pleased I am with your products, especially the needles and look forward to your new line of pigments.

20 Minute Lip Course
I recently had the distinct pleasure of attending the 20 Minute Lip course offered by John Hashey, Linda Dixon MD and Joyce Cirasuola in New Orleans just before the SPCP convention. John is a seventeen-year veteran tattoo artist and a retire Marine. He diagnoses your mistakes in a heart-beat. And helps you perfect his "Hashey" technique, the ancient hand method of tattooing called TEBORI . No more "blotchy" lip color. I can honestly say I learned more about lip technique and coil tattoo machines in those few hours then in all my years of experience.
The essence of the Hashey technique is the realization that classical tap technique and the coil are conceptually the same. John points out how O'reilly first coil machine was an extension of the classical tapping method of the orient. He explains very clearly how that both methods the implantation of the pigment occurs at a parallel and not perpendicular level to the natural tissue planes. Thus , there is indeed less trauma, pigment loss, and enhanced pigment filling of the tissues in less time as compared to the rotary method. There was far more information shared which should be reserved for classroom attendance only. We were witness to this man when he performed corrective lip liner and full lips on an expert technician, Robin Smith from Colorado. I urge you all to attend this master class.
